Recently, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau conducted quality inspections on plastic chains sold online and offline, and the results showed that 4 batches of products were unqualified. The problem is focused on insufficient tensile strength and failure to meet the standard for elongation at break. Some products only break when loaded with 8 kilograms in load-bearing tests.
During the random inspection, it was found that most of the unqualified products were "three no" products without factory names and certificates, mainly sold through low-priced e-commerce channels. The regulatory authorities have ordered the relevant merchants to immediately take down their products for rectification and have held talks with the production enterprises. Staff remind consumers to check the product testing report when purchasing and choose the corresponding load-bearing level product according to the usage scenario to avoid safety accidents caused by quality issues.
